Description
These winged little insects use their flickering bulb-like glow to attract mates and prey at night. They inhabit the mangroves and live in certain types of trees in the area. When night time comes these firelies are like Christmas lights from afar. To reach the Iwahig river, an aircon van will pick you up from your hotel and travel about 45 minutes south. Dinner, boat ride, entrance fee and services of a local guide are included in the tour package.
